Engineering Student Ethan Bondick
Ethan Bondick, who grew up in Concord, Massachusetts, was an honor roll student at Noble and Greenough High School in Dedham, where he competed on the varsity tennis and ski teams before beginning his engineering education at Columbia University. Ethan Bondick’s interest in tennis is reflected in his leadership and technical skills as the founder of Stringz Attached, a tennis racket stringing company. His love of the sport led him to coaching, as he instructed beginner and intermediate tennis clinics at Bosse Sports. As a skier, he demonstrated international sportsmanship and adaptability, representing Mexico at the Whistler Cup.
Before enrolling at Columbia, Ethan Bondick developed problem-solving and mapping skills during a summer internship at MOBI, a dynamic route-planning business, by contributing to a project mapping ski area services for a resort client. His collaboration and service skills are also shown through his involvement with philanthropic organizations that support Veterans, such as 51Vets and Children of Fallen Patriots, as well as supporting the local community through his volunteering at Gaining Ground, a non-profit organic farm in Concord.
